Overall, common-sense, intelligent use of driving skills is something that I can teach effectively and with great patience. As I have found, all learners do not share the same capacity for absorbing information and improving their skills and knowledge.

A good driving instructor will recognise this and make allowances where necessary. That’s why some learners will inevitably need more time than others. It’s not that they’re less bright – they just learn at a different pace and often feel in themselves an unshakable need to master one task thoroughly before moving on to the next, and that’s no bad thing. As I said, a good instructor will make allowances for that, gently and patiently coaching and encouraging each learner, however nervous, to gradually build confidence and dispel any rational or irrational fears they may harbour.

Provided there is a real desire to learn and a willingness to give the necessary application, I really do believe that just about anyone can be taught to drive safely and sensibly.

Learning to drive needn’t be a chore, either. It can actually be fun and an interesting and enjoyable experience if it’s conducted in a friendly and helpful atmosphere, one in which a good rapport of understanding between teacher and student has been established.

So if you’re thinking of taking some instruction that will help to secure your safety and that of your passengers on today’s busy roads, why not get in touch? My services are available every day except Sunday and I pick up all my student drivers at home and drop them off again after each lesson. All in all, I think you will judge my rates to be reasonable. I can give you details of these when you first apply.

You know, in terms of my own satisfaction, I always look forward to seeing the broad smile on another delighted learner’s face when they successfully pass their test and win their freedom as new road-users!
It could be your turn next, and with my help you most assuredly can, so why wait?
